Don has over 30 years of heavy equipment and machinery appraising and administration experience. He is involved in all aspects of company operations including general management, marketing, engineering, contracts, finance, strategic planning, software development and operations. He has strong insurance industry experience and his background includes lease-end inspections, cost factoring & cost-effective estimating, and streamlining of heavy and specialized equipment salvage processes.
Don has been involved in the development of several appraisal and insurance technology solutions including a truck & heavy equipment estimating system, damage appraisal interactive forms, and an audit system for reconciling the appropriateness and accuracy of appraisals and financial concepts for reserving and determining losses on heavy equipment. In addition, Don lead the development of a proprietary system which extracts information from external claims portals and imports them into IDA's administration system, resulting in a highly streamlined operation.
Ted has 44+ years of multi-line experience across various segments of the insurance industry. His extensive background and multi-disciplined expertise includes roles as a multi-line adjuster, auditor, trainer, field manager, DRP manager, heavy equipment appraiser, business owner, and managing partner.
Ted specializes in causation, damage, and loss evaluations for personal and commercial lines, including auto, truck, RV, heavy equipment, marine, oilfield, industrial, hazmat spills, recovery & remediation, and environmental claims. His expertise covers cause & origin, mechanical and weld failure, loss site investigations, as well as truck and heavy equipment damage, loss and valuation.
With diverse and extensive training and certifications, Ted has provided expert consultations, file reviews, and opinions. He has served as an expert witness in litigation, including trials, depositions, arbitrations, claim settlements, and subrogation negotiations.

A certified crane inspector and certifier in three states, he has a multi-disciplined and diverse background in heavy and industrial equipment and appraisal services.
Formerly a Corporate Safety Director, Chuck is well-versed in OSHA and Cal/OSHA safety regulations, appeals, and procedures. His expertise also includes marine loss evaluation, equipment failure, and accident causes, aggregate production, mining equipment design, conveyors, and batch/recycle plant operations.
With comprehensive experience in the insurance industry, John excels in various facets of property claims, subrogation reviews, and audits. With a focus on autos, heavy trucks, RVs, and marine vehicles, he is a recognized expert in handling exotics and collectible vehicles. Holding licenses in Hawaii, Pennsylvania and Delaware, John has directed staff and independents in multiple states, fostered best practice guideline development and handled auto claims and salvage operations in Central America.
Known for his leadership, problem-solving capabilities, strategic thinking and innovation, John brings a high level of proficiency to both field and photo/virtual estimates. His expertise includes property damage appraisals, estimating platforms, appraisal umpiring, expert witness testimony, and nationwide disaster deployment for CAT claims.
John's many achievements include serving as an independent re-inspector for AIIC, a guest speaker at NIC's PA SIU meeting, a consultant to Philadelphia's D.A. insurance fraud division and to the PA, NJ, DE and VA State Police, innovation through early development of a nationwide desk review system, and successful mediation of disputes between staff, shops, independents and insurance companies.
Frank is a highly qualified appraiser who specializes in commercial truck appraisal services in California. An appraisal expert with practical mechanical experience, Frank provides quality damage assessments and valuations for commercial trucks and trailers including tractors/trailers, delivery box trucks, crane and tow trucks, grocery trucks, and other heavy & medium duty commercial trucks & vans.
Before his career as a professional appraiser, Frank held several repair shop leadership roles including key positions at Peterbilt Truck Dealership and Valley Detroit Diesel. As Body Shop Manager and Service Shop Foreman, he gained extensive experience in physical damage collision repair procedures including damage estimating and analysis of body damage and mechanical segments such as frames, engines, transmissions, suspension & electrical systems.
Frank's background also includes heavy equipment appraisals, salvage handling, training and certification in truck damage analysis and estimating, proficiency utilizing AdjustRite software and digital communications and technology platforms, and serving as a liaison between insurance adjusters and insureds/claimants for positive claim outcomes.
